Marshall P. Grodofsky, MD

Dr. Marshall Grodofsky is Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  Dr. Grodofsky is board certified in pediatrics, as well as allergy and clinical immunology.  Dr. Grodofsky holds hospital privileges at Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Manchester Hospital, and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Grodofksy was raised in Laurelton Queens, New York.  He graduated from the Queens College of the City University of New York with Summa Cum Laude honors and was awarded the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Anthropology in 1976.  He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1981.  He completed his pediatric residency training, and postgraduate fellowship training in allergy, immunology, pulmonology, and bone marrow transplantation, at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 1986 and was named Resident Research Award winner in 1984.

Dr. Grodofsky is past president of the Connecticut Society of Allergy and Immunology, and is currently Treasurer of the New England Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.  He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Hartford County Medical Association. Among Dr. Grodofsky’s professional honors, he has been recognized and included in the Best Doctors in America, and Connecticut Magazine’s “Top Docs for Women.”

Dr. Grodofsky lives with his wife Linda in South Windsor, and has raised three children.
